The Fairytale Engagement

What is more romantic than a beautiful flowing gown during golden hour on a beach in Carmel by the Sea? I can tell you this Carmel by the Sea engagement session had it all! A gorgeous gown, the perfect sunset, a super low tide (on the beach), a cute cottage downtown, and a PUPPY! Madison found me on Instagram and reached out to have photos taken of her and her fiance, Randy, plus their new puppy, Rosie! We started chatting and she started planning!

Puppies are like toddlers when it comes to photo shoots…their attention spans are about the same as little ADHD children! I mean that in the best way possible!  It also tells me that we needed to start our session out with Rosie in the cute little cottage like town of Carmel by the Sea, Ca.  If you have never been you should sometime, because it’s something out of story books! The cutest little candy shop made for the perfect place to give Madison that cute cottage look she was wanting! I mean come on!!!!  Just look at these cuties!!!!

We spent our time smooching on Rosie, giving her TONS of treats, and letting her lead our Carmel by the Sea engagement session! She was such a good pup and I’m pretty sure she loved ALL the extra attention!!

After our time spent in town and making tons of cute pit stops, Randy and Madison changed for the beach part of our session.  Madison picked the most epic of gowns and it was absolutely jaw dropping with the beach setting.  Plus the tide was so far out, almost as if it was a king tide event!  This made the sand hold water in a perfect reflective way! To top it off like a cherry on top, the sun played along, which on the northern California coastline is something that is not a guarantee! THIS combination right here made for the perfect recipe for the end of the perfect fairytale engagement session in Carmel by the Sea!
