Dreamy wedding on the cliffs of Carmel Highlands
Sitting on the cliffs above the Pacific ocean just south of Carmel and north of Big Sur resides the Hyatt Carmel Highlands. A resort offering you and your guests an amazing stay with jaw dropping views of the rugged west coast cliffs. This is exactly the scenery where Kimberly and Cole said I do for their Carmel Highlands wedding! The day started off a bit foggy as the Carmel area tends to, but by the time their guests were admiring the couple, they were also enjoying that beautiful Carmel Highlands view!
Kimberly and Cole had simple and exquisite details blending the beauty of their Carmel Highlands wedding and nature letting their guests enjoy the ceremony with ease.
Kimberly knew that Cole was the one for her when he kept taking the time out of his day to bring her favorite coffee to her at work. She has my heart too as we share the same love for good coffee! Cole mentioned to me that he saved the “I love you” for his one and only, making Kimberly the only person he has vowed this too. Seriously, my heart is melting!
Carmel Highlands to Ribera Road: Betty White anyone?
After their ceremony we headed to the Airbnb where Cole got ready and the couple stayed for the week of their wedding. And yes, you read that right, we were just down the street from Betty White’s house! We loved getting to have some fun and creative wedding party and couple’s portraits inside this home before heading over to the reception at Fairview Laguna Seca.

Once leaving the home in Carmel Highlands we headed to the party! Laguna Seca is such a beautiful place! Your guests get stunning views of the Santa Lucia Mountains with floor to ceiling windows. While you get whisked away to have portraits done along the exposed stone hills and golf course.

Leaving the Fairview Laguna Seca; saying goodbye in style!
Getting a sparkler exit is a bonus here in California. Laguna Seca is one of the few places you can have one!! I love that Kim and Cole got this amazing send off from their guests. Wishing them the best as they ran off to start their new life together.
Cole’s truck’s brakes went out on the highway on his way to meeting Kimberly for their first date together. I can tell you they made it safely to their after party!
