Balboa Park and Coronado Beach
Jessica + Keith had the most beautiful San Diego engagement session. I was so excited to travel for them to be in such a wonderful place. They wanted pictures where places matter most to them, which is what I always suggest to my couples! After checking into my hotel (which is a whole complicated story for another time), I stopped by their place to pick them up for their beautiful San Diego engagement session. This way we didn’t have to take multiple cars, both find parking in crowded places and then try to meet up at the location, so it worked out great!
Our first stop for the evening was to hit up Balboa Park, a must when in San Diego, and I was so glad we were in the same car! There was some big concert that evening and the park was jam packed! It wasn’t event a Friday!!!! We even contemplated just illegal parking and hoping out for the quick pick at the first location, but I’m glad we didn’t! The first stop being the beautiful St. Francis Chapel. We whizzed through the park at warp speed, which to be fair I could have spent hours here shooting! But we had bigger fish to fry. With a wardrobe change, a puppy pickup, we headed to Coronado Beach to finish their engagement session!
Coronado Beach Engagement
Now Mo is the real secret here! She’s a 2 year old golden retriever and one of the first reasons these two started dating! Yes, Kieth fell in love with Mo, or maybe Mo fell in love with Keith, but she is the reason Keith was coming around, and of course Jessica!! I mean Jessica too, but this dog adores Kieth! These three were adorable together and I love they are the cutest little family!
Keith is so smitten on Jessica! These two cuties are so sweet and SO in love, deep into their cores! I love how he treasures her and so much of who she is as a person. It will take them so far in their soon to be marriage and I love that about my couples. I love to pour my own self and marriage into my couples and I can’t wait to share it with these two. Jessica and Keith took the amazing plunge into the ocean for their Coronado Beach part of their engagement session, which gets me so excited every time!! There is just something so romantic about when the couple wants to be wet!!! This beach was also special to these two as Kieth had picked here to propose just a few months prior!
While my time in San Diego was short, with a flight out the next morning. Ha, I wasn’t even there for 24 hours! It was such a reminder of how much I love San Diego, and how I can’t wait to go there with my own family again!
